Workshop - Fact Or Fiction

Nick showed us a really useful exercise today called Fact Or Fiction a method used by top creatives in the advertising industry. It really got me thinking on a higher level creatively and opened up my eyes to new ways of working and idea generation. The task at hand was to find an article from a newspaper and produce a rich image of this story in one illustration , I decided to pick the marget thatcher story
'Thatchers Funeral Cost Britons 6p Each'. We had to pick out the Facts and Fictions from this story and come up with one solid illustration with a truth statement. After clueing together the facts and fictions I came about the idea to represent Marget Thatcher as an out of date Milk Bottle , as her funeral opened up old memories of her presidency like a bad smell and also the underlying fact she took away milk at schools.
